About The Position

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the warfighter for NAVAIR. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project and have regular interactions with clients, schedulers, project leads, and SMEs. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a project analyst
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, risk registers, and project baselines
  • Ability to develop and articulate scope, risk, cost, and performance parameters as well as mitigation strategies for technical and programmatic risks
  • Ability to ensure compliance with organizational, contractual, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience facilitating cross-discipline collaboration among engineering, configuration management, logistics, and quality assurance teams
  • Experience preparing and presenting project status reports, metrics, and technical briefings to leadership and customers
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition or systems integration programs
  • Secret clearance
