Requirements

Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field.
Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.
Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
Resource must be highly experienced in all aspects of DOE Office of Science project management and execution.
20+ years of related experience in project management and/or capital projects.
15+ years in nuclear and/or DOE related experience.
Prior experience supporting Office of Science related capital projects.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as Federal Project Director.

Responsibilities

Report to the Project Director identifying actionable recommendations on the best path to success for the LBNF/DUNE Project.
Provide additional comments to the Director as deemed appropriate to ensure success of the project.
Serve as a member of the Project Advisory Committee at approximately 2 meetings a year.
Give expert advice on management and risks to help optimize the project.
Craft well written and actionable reports.
