About The Position

The Project Administrator/Dispatcher is responsible for supporting the maintenance department with workflow management and field contact. Reporting to the Maintenance supervisor. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of accuracy and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

  • Hours for the shift are Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday 7:00am to 3:00pm, every other weekend.
  • Additional hours as needed to cover open shifts, including holidays
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with all levels in the organization and with outside clients.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work alone and with others and to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for updating work order coding and entering field comments
  • Assist in managing work order flow/scheduling for all maintenance contracts
  • Closing out work orders
  • Work directly with the call centers, customers, and citizens for streetlight & signal issues
  • Create work orders from multiple sources
  • Communicate with field personnel regarding repairs
  • Ensure the dispatch performance criteria of the contracts are met
  • High customer service level required
  • Security camera review
  • Fill in on occasion to cover shifts for other team members
  • Other duties as required
