About The Position

Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Project Administrator supporting our Service Department. Under direct supervision, the Project Administrator is responsible for routine project documentation, materials, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of projects. This position is required to closely interact with the Admin Team Leader, Area Service Managers and assigned service team members to ensure the timely completion of each project.

Requirements

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school and three (3) plus years of related billing experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
  • Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.

Responsibilities

  • Processing service agreements in system application.
  • Processing Quoted, T&M processing and invoicing.
  • Handling various billing requirements.
  • Coordinating with various team members for accurate and timely recording of service costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, daily reports, etc.
  • Performing general administrative functions to include purchase orders.
  • Generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.
  • Communicating effectively with other team members.
