Project Administrator, Craftsman (SWORD)

USfalconColorado Springs, CO
Onsite

About The Position

USfalcon seeks a Project Administrator to support the implementation of the 392d Combat Training Squadron’s (392 CTS) M&S strategy and roadmap. This strategy integrates current and future space M&S capabilities into United States Space Force (USSF) exercises. The Project Administrator position supports the 3IS III SWORD M&S Team by building and owning the processes, documentation systems, and accountability structures that enable the team’s three major lines of effort — deployment, integration, and development — to execute consistently. This position requires a mix of project coordination and well-honed administrative skills to ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, management of project schedules, documentation of lessons observed, and overseeing day-to-day administrative functions of the team. This position is primarily in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with regular functions at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, and requires on-site support.

  • Experience planning, coordinating, and supporting technical events, such as exercise planning conferences, technical working groups, and other multi-stakeholder professional events.

  • Review, edit, and prepare for publication reports, meeting minutes, trip reports, assessments, and other products.
  • Coordinate with the 392 CTS Service Exercise Team (SET) to capture M&S requirements for exercises.

  • Observe, capture, and recommend procedural changes to sustain best practices and learn from previous actions.
  • Own and continuously improve the team’s operational processes — including lessons learned capture, new team member onboarding, and standard operating procedures — developing templates and workflows that drive consistent execution across all three lines of effort.
  • Establish and maintain the team’s knowledge management system, including a centralized document repository, deployment runbooks, as-built records, and institutional knowledge captured from departing team members.
