About The Position

This position is for an Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Maple Creek Project. The successful candidate will perform administrative duties requiring proficiency, accuracy, judgment, initiative, discretion, and knowledge of company procedures and protocol. This role supports efficient office operations through coordination of calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence, and other team administrative activities. The position will be based in the Reston, VA office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of administrative, office support, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and changing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or relevant administrative certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting teams in a professional office environment preferred.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, calendars, and travel arrangements preferred.
  • Experience preparing expense reports preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative and clerical support duties for assigned managers and teams.
  • Formats, proofreads, and distributes correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents using approved software applications.
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings, conference calls, and team events, including room reservations and meeting logistics.
  • Maintains calendars, identifies scheduling conflicts, and coordinates resolution as appropriate.
  • Assists in preparing agendas, meeting materials, and meeting minutes as required.
  • Coordinates domestic travel arrangements and prepares travel itineraries.
  • Prepares and processes expense reports using Concur or other approved systems.
  • Maintains and distributes departmental information, contact lists, and records as assigned.
  • Receives and directs phone calls, visitors, and inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Assists with office operations, including supply management, shipping requests, and general administrative support.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Stays informed of key priorities and commitments of supported managers and teams.
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $51,300 - $78,200 annually
