Grand Canyon Conservancy (GCC) collaborates with the National Park Service (NPS) to support the implementation of high-quality projects that benefit Grand Canyon National Park. As a vital part of the project team, the Project Accounting Manager administers all financial elements of each project as well as projects collectively. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Project Accounting Manager ensures that projects are accurately forecasted and budgeted, and that all funding sources and costs are appropriately recorded and reported. The position acts as a vital financial liaison between project managers, operations teams, and finance staff, including the Controller, Chief Operating Officer, Park Projects Manager, and other stakeholders whose roles intersect in support of shared GCC and NPS initiatives. The Project Accounting Manager expresses a strong interest in project accounting and management and has a proven ability to monitor and support projects from inception to completion. The position also requires close attention to GCC compliance with NPS cooperative agreements; experience with procurement processes and reviewing contracts; strategic problem-solving skills; and monitoring project budgets, deliverables, timelines, and reporting. This is a full-time, exempt/salaried, benefit-eligible remote position. Limited travel for meetings at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and/or Flagstaff, AZ, may be required on an episodic basis, for which GCC temporary housing and office space would be provided, with advance notice for scheduling. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
