About The Position

Aldridge Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant. In this role, you will collaborate with Project Managers to submit invoices, pay estimates, waivers, and other required contractual documentation to customers. You will also ensure timely collection of funds for all approved billings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2-4 years of project accounting or accounts receivable or related experience
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize effectively
Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations to executive teams, while remaining diplomatic and respectful

Responsibilities

Work with Project Managers to submit invoices, pay estimates, lien waivers, payroll reports, fuel/equipment reports, insurance certificates, drug testing reports, sworn statements to customers along with any other documentation required by our contract
Prepare billing package and follow up to ensure timely collection of funds
Maintain accurate forecasting of collections aggressively as billings approach contractual payment cycles
Work in conjunction with Accounts Payable to coordinate subcontract and supplier payments as determined by the terms of each contract
Monitor pay estimates from pencil through funding stage
Develop and report job specific cash management plans
Coordinate and ensure the collection of various required documentation from subcontractors and suppliers
Monitor change order status through each stage
Monitor contract values to ensure accuracy for both Aldridge and each subcontractor
