About The Position

Project Accounting is the Specialty. If you're looking for a role where project accounting is the focus—not just another stop on a general accounting career path—this could be a great fit. As a Senior Project Accountant, you'll serve as a key financial partner to one or more active construction project teams. You'll own the day-to-day accounting activity behind those projects, helping ensure financial information is accurate, timely, organized, and ready to support project decisions. This is a highly collaborative role. You'll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, business unit leadership, and accounting partners, so success here requires more than technical accounting skills. You'll need to be organized, responsive, comfortable answering questions, and genuinely enjoy working with people outside of accounting. Your primary partners will be project teams and subcontractors, meaning you'll be closely connected to the people and activity driving the projects forward. As the project portfolio continues to grow, occasional travel to a job site may be required, including a large West Texas project once it is fully mobilized.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working directly with project teams and subcontractors and responding to their questions.
