About The Position

Yonkers Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Construction Project Accountant with at least 3 years of relevant experience in heavy-highway construction. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in heavy-highway construction
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
Proven ability to collaborate and function effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor budgets to ensure compliance with project goals
Perform financial analysis to assess project profitability and projected costs
Generate financial reports, including cost tracking and variance analysis
Collaborate with project team to ensure financial alignment with project objectives
Utilize construction management software to enhance cost management and improve data accuracy
Prepare financial reports for monthly estimates and change orders
Process accounts payables and receivables
