The Project Accountant is responsible for completing pay applications and assisting with billing. This person will work in direct support of the Accounting Manager. Requirements

Associates’ degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Strong mathematical and analytical skills required
Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills are also critical

Nice To Haves

Experience in both construction and accounting related positions preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with billing, specifically in regard to Locklear/Rogers projects
Reconcile jobs
Change order research and help get change orders for all salesmen
Proper project close out
Comsense reports, cleaning up WIP and sales orders
Research back charges, missing material, change orders, etc.
Other relative duties as assigned
