About The Position

VHB is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Northeast Regional Finance team in either our New York, NY or Princeton, NJ office, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative, people-focused team that plays an important role in supporting the delivery of meaningful projects across our communities. As a Project Accountant, you’ll partner closely with project managers, finance colleagues, and technical teams across a wide range of markets, including transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy. You’ll also support work with public and private clients, as well as federal, state, and local government partners. Requirements

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to think critically and solve problems
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, or equivalent experience
0-4 years of related accounting, finance, billing, or equivalent experience (preferably within the AEC industry)
