About The Position
VHB is currently looking to hire a Project Accountant to join our Northeast Regional Finance team. This position is hybrid out of our Lansdale, PA office.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated with ability to think critically and solve problems as they arise
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
- Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively & positively with coworkers
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, or equivalent experience
- 0-4 years of related accounting, finance, billing, or equivalent experience (preferably within the AEC industry)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint or other similar financial applications a plus
Responsibilities
- Preparation and processing of client invoices including agency workbooks; cover letters; progress reports
- Maintaining records of billing terms as necessary, including rate tables
- Maintain certain client portal access for invoice uploads
- Review and processing of subconsultants invoicing relative to project requirements
- Accounts receivable collection assistance
- Assistance with research & resolution of client questions related to invoicing and payments
- Additional tasks as assigned
