About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity to join our team of professionals as a Project Accountant. This position supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision. The role involves preparing various financial reports, providing analysis and recommendations based on findings, and maintaining records according to generally accepted accounting practices. The Project Accountant will also perform audits, generate special financial reports, and review projects for accurate revenue recognition.

Requirements

BA/BS relevant curriculum and 2 years of accounting experience or A/AS and 4 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Demonstrated experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience in construction accounting.
Experience with construction financial documentation.
Strong Excel experience.
Microsoft Office Proficiency.

Nice To Haves

CMiC or Textura experience is preferred.
