About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse. The role involves caring for PCU and MS Telemetry patients, including surgical pre-op and post-op patients, and occasional pediatric patients if experienced. The assignment is for a 13-week contract with a night shift schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Must have PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification preferred.
• TCAR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for PCU and MS Telemetry patients.
• Manage surgical pre-op and post-op patients.
• Care for ENT surgery, general surgery, trauma surgery, and orthopedic surgery patients.
• Manage overflow medical patients.
• Provide care for occasional pediatric patients if experienced.
