The Programs Videographer is responsible for advancing Braille Institute’s mission through innovative, high-quality, and accessible video and audio content that attracts and engages new clients nationwide. This role encompasses the direction, production, and delivery of podcasts, instructional videos, and recorded programming, while ensuring technical excellence for live and virtual programs and events. Working in close collaboration with the Senior Director of Virtual Services and the Programs Media Manager, the Programs Videographer identifies opportunities to expand the reach and impact of Braille Institute’s offerings by leveraging emerging video formats and new technologies. Every production decision — from lighting and audio to pacing and on-screen text — must center the needs of individuals with vision loss: people who need content that is respectful, warm, approachable, and immediately useful. The Programs Videographer brings both technical excellence and genuine empathy for this audience to every project.
