About The Position

Under general supervision, this role assists in the planning, organizing, implementing, and promoting of department programs and activities. The position involves supporting various events, handling office duties, and assisting with other departmental needs.

Requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • Minimal experience is required.
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the set-up, delivery, and break down of a variety of events including community events, outdoor concerts, festivals, holiday activities, and sporting events.
  • Assist with daily office duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, providing exceptional customer service, greeting visitors, and supporting the general functions of the division.
  • Assist with other department needs such as City Store and Rentals.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.
  • Assists the department with special events including but not limited to working inside, outdoors, working independently and with a team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
