About The Position

This role involves leading a programming team, focusing on problem-solving initiatives, supporting other work areas, and coordinating with project managers. The lead will also be responsible for documenting standard work, training team members, auditing adherence to standards, handling various types of work-related problems, and tracking work inputs, outputs, and progress against schedules. Additionally, the lead will backfill team member workloads as necessary.

Contract Documents (Architectural drawings, Structural drawings, Specifications)
Structural Engineering (basic understanding, interact with 3rd party PE's)
General construction practices, means & methods
General manufacturing practices, means & methods
AutoCAD
Autodesk Revit
Autodesk Inventor
CAM Plus/Driver CAD
Microsoft Office
Bluebeam
Spatial Geometry / Visualization
Microsoft Project
Four-year college degree in Engineering or similar field of study & 2-5 years of Modeling / Drafting experience or 5-10 years of experience in Modeling / Drafting industry
CNC Programming

Responsibilities

Lead Problem solving initiatives around Programming Work & support other work areas
Lead Daily Team meetings
Coordinate with Project Managers on questions, problems & RFI's for all projects
Document standard work & train Team Members
Audit Team Members adherence to Standard Work
Handle problems raised by Team Members
Handle abnormal work
Escalate problems to Modeling Manager as necessary
Track Work inputs and outputs & evaluate for quality
Track progress against schedules
Back fill Team Member work load as necessary
