Requirements

Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program and graduating December 2026 – July 2027
Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in late-May or mid-June
Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner
Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities
Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively
A passion for significantly impacting game development

Strong proficiency in C++
Strong knowledge of 3D Math/Linear Algebra
An eagerness to collaborate and innovate on animations.
Knowledge of computer animation.
Proficient in C#
Understanding of build tools (MSBuild, Premake)
Understanding of automation and distribution tools (Jenkins)
Excited to support and collaborate with a large team
Proficient in a programming language, preferably C++
Familiarity with engine programming at school or through personal projects
Experience working with Visual Studios
Experience working with build systems

Knowledge of mathematics for 3D graphics, particularly linear algebra

Responsibilities

Be a part of a world class animation engineering team where you’ll work with world class animators to achieve a standalone feature for Call of Duty runtime.
This role will impact how animations look in Call of Duty.
Improves and maintains our game build system as well as continuous integration, code and data validation, and packaging and distribution across many PC and Console platforms.
Ensures that designers, artists, and engineers can see their work reflected in our game as quickly and reliably as possible.
Works on and deliver key features and systems in the Diablo engine, that key stakeholders and other developers will leverage and build upon to generate great and awesome content.
Partner across teams developing gameplay and features for our games.
Working on a shipping title, with a mentor, on a team managing multiple projects against competing deadlines.
Focus on implementing new features or mechanics into a shipping title.
Work on new projects to help increase efficiencies by prototyping knowledge resource tools for Blizzard.
Work with a team that acts as the "technical glue" between back end and user experience.
Control social systems on our games and implement new systems within multiplayer game features.
Design and implement the technical systems and workflows that allow development teams to create and deliver video games efficiently and effectively.
Build the tools we use to create our games.
Create user experiences for proprietary tools and provide unique value to a small team of passionate engineers.
Help content creators be really creative, really fast.
Focus on one part of the framework within the game engine that the UI will be built upon, and one part the active User Interface our players will see in game.
Work on both the underlying code systems that make it work, and all the shiny buttons and menus you interact with!
