About The Position

Cornerstone at Hampton is seeking a patient, innovative programmer who is creative, friendly, compassionate and organized to assist the Program Director in creating, scheduling and implementing therapeutic programs for our memory care residents. Requirements

1+ years experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations
Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Form meaningful relationships with residents and families
Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily therapeutic programming schedule for 7 days per week
Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors
Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
Assist with support group and educational sessions for families and staff
Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media
