About The Position

KēSTA I.T. is actively seeking an experienced Programmer for an immediate contract engagement with our government client. This role is Hybrid and requires a highly motivated full-stack developer with extensive experience in Angular, .NET technologies, Azure DevOps, and cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, a passion for delivering secure, scalable software solutions, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with business analysts, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience developing applications using Angular.
  • 6+ years of experience working with Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • 6+ years of experience using Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD, and Agile project management.
  • 6+ years of experience supporting or participating in AWS cloud migration projects.
  • Strong experience developing enterprise web applications using modern software development methodologies.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and process-oriented delivery models.
  • Proven experience implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices and application security standards (SADLC).
  • Experience developing technical documentation, system specifications, and design artifacts.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, software design principles, and reusable code development.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, business users, and project stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative Agile team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PowerApps is preferred.
  • Experience using Playwright for automated integration testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web and standalone applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and project stakeholders to review requirements and present technical solutions during project review meetings.
  • Develop technical designs, data models, system documentation, and functional specifications.
  • Write secure, reusable, and maintainable code in accordance with approved architecture, development standards, and secure application development lifecycle (SADLC) practices.
  • Identify, mitigate, and remediate application security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in code reviews, structured walkthroughs, technical reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Follow established configuration management, source control, and change management processes.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to validate application functionality and performance.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts to support quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and assess impacts on existing applications and systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and system support materials.
  • Provide end-user training and technical guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize existing applications and support cloud migration initiatives.
  • Support application deployments and ongoing maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
