I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp is looking for an experienced Programmer/Estimator. A complete service, a one stop shop encompassing a variety of services from Custom Metal Fabrication, Precision Machining to Industrial Metal Finishing. Our facilities encompass a variety of machines ranging from Sheet and Tube Lasers, CNC Machining Centers, Powder Coating Lines to Deliver Trucks and everything in between needed for Custom Metal Fabrication, Precision Machining to Industrial Metal Finishing.

Requirements

Tech School education or on the job experience
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and departments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
Ability to problem solve.
Must be able to type, sit for long periods of time, and lift up to 15lbs at a time.
Advance computer skills

Nice To Haves

2-3 years of machine programming experience.

Responsibilities

Utilize work orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to create job requirements
Interpret blueprints and draw (draft) flat pattern layouts of parts with CAD/CAM
Work directly with client's engineers
Reverse engineer parts
Work with production and machine operators
