Requirements

  • High school diploma or combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical training in metrology or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 year experience in part layout using coordinate measuring machines
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in programming coordinate measuring equipment.
  • Demonstrate competency in metrology, blueprint reading, statistical techniques and color/appearance measurement.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality on products, services and processes.
  • Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proven experience working with cross functional teams to complete daily tasks and projects.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other employees.
  • Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dimensional analysis and problem solving support for new and current programs, as required.
  • Perform gage calibration and system maintenance consistent with Quality System requirements.
  • Maintain area to ensure clean, organized and consistent with general housekeeping guidelines.
  • Write/program CMM using CMM Manager or other industry software.
  • Support design reviews and approvals for tooling and gages.
  • Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility studies.
  • Review DTS and drawing specifications.
  • Work with cross function teams to support business requirements.
  • Document all activities as required.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
  • Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
