About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Program Analyst to join our dynamic team in Fairfax VA. This position involves working assigned requests and projects to include design, development, and testing of Microsoft Access/VBA and SQL Server based tools. The role also includes performing updates of documentation related to development efforts and supporting implementation in production, as well as supporting daily interface operations to and from external applications to the Costpoint ERP system. Collaboration with stakeholders in other departments to come up with solutions and providing Costpoint user support, documenting issues, troubleshooting, and general support of the software are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the Programmer Analyst will provide backup for the department manager as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in software development using Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures.
  • 5+ years’ Experience in programming with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), MS Access and Office applications.
  • 2+ years’ experience using IBM Cognos.
  • 2+ Years experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and implementing security best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
