About The Position

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Programmer Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Tukwila, WA or Seattle, WA. Join the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to help drive Next‑Gen Platform capability development and deliver solutions that expand connectivity across Boeing, our suppliers, and our customers within Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S). In this role, you’ll collaborate with major application providers and work with Computer-Aided Design/ Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) tool suites. Your primary focus will be supporting data migration, the process of extracting, transforming, validating, and loading data—along with testing and cutover planning.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
  • 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++ or C#
  • 3+ years of experience developing software solutions in the Java programming language
  • 3+ years of experience working with shell scripting in a Linux/Unix hosting environment
  • 1+ years of experience using PowerShell

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows batch scripting
  • 3+ years experience using JSON
  • Experience in an agile work environment
  • Experience with code management and continuous integration/delivery processes and tools like GitLab, Azure, and DevOps
  • Experience with Angular framework
  • Experience with cloud services and deployment
  • Experience with CAD/CAM Engineering and migrating CAD data to other formats
  • Experience with RESTful API development
  • Experience communicating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across all development roles and levels, with clear calls to action

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java, C/C++
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software
  • Create and manage user interfaces with HTML and JavaScript
  • Utilize Microsoft (MS) SQL Server and ORACLE databases for data management and retrieval
  • Implement messaging patterns to enhance application scalability
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Build and integrate complex software tools to enhance the product's reliability and scalability
  • Support the setting up of development and production environments, deployment of application devices
  • Develop best practices/methodologies for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting
