Programmer Analyst .NET Core (Hybrid)
About The Position
VDOT-AMD is seeking a Developer with 10 years or more of .Net Web application development experience. This long-term position requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days a week in Richmond, VA, with the assignment potentially extending up to 24 months. The role involves managing, encoding, and analyzing complex software requirements to design and develop high-quality components using the .NET Core framework. The successful candidate will be expected to follow programming best practices, prioritize work effectively, and write system documentation. Strong communication skills are essential for technical and business requirement discussions. All client interviews are conducted onsite.
Requirements
- 10 years of .Net Web application development experience.
- 10 years of experience and fluency with JavaScript including frameworks JQuery, React, Angular or Blazor, CSS3 and HTML5.
- 10 years of Automated Builds using Microsoft Team Foundation (TFS).
- 7 years of Oracle SQL Server Database Experience.
- 7 years of PL/SQL and Oracle Database Experience.
- 7 years of Process Automation and Troubleshooting.
- 3 years of Agile SDLC Best Practices.
Nice To Haves
- In-depth knowledge of system design patterns, tiered architecture, and testing practices.
- Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications and backend services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Java Script, JQuery, Angular JS, Node.js, CSS and Blazor.
- Design and develop using appropriate software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.
- Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery.
- Work with project business and system analysts to clarify the requirements and then implement them.
- Participate in Agile SDLC.
