Designs, develops, modifies, configures, debugs and evaluates application programs for functional business areas. Analyzes existing applications and systems and formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, logical database design, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Consults with business analysts and architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs. Modifies and configures applications/systems as specified in the requirements and/or technical design document. Prepares and obtains approval of system and development documentation. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant in Avila Beach within the PG&E Service Territory. Working hours would be on a 4x10 schedule from Monday – Thursday within the hours of 6:30am – 5:00pm. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $36.54 to $54.81. To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be a US citizen or Green Card holder, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
