About The Position

This employee provides application development/integration services to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget supporting Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC) and Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP). They will be responsible for the design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of the agency applications. Project assignments and activity will be executed within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM). These assignments will provide for the development, testing and deployment of application releases, updates and modifications. This position is responsible for providing advanced technical support for Dynamics 365 Platform. As the Programmer Analyst, they will both perform and lead the team with project tasks, including but not limited to, gathering requirements, planning, analyzing, designing, testing, implementation, documentation and the maintenance of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Implementations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Implementations
  • 3+ years Architect Experience
  • 5+ years Power Platform Solutions, particularly Power Automate and Power Pages.
  • Microsoft Azure platform experience
  • 5+ years Azure DevOps
  • 3+ years Data Architecture Experience
  • 5+ years Infrastructure/Network and Application Support
  • 5 years Technical Customer Service Analyst experience
  • Extensive experience with MS Dynamics, MS Azure, and Application Support – 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of agency applications.
  • Development, testing, and deployment of application releases, updates, and modifications.
  • Providing advanced technical support for Dynamics 365 Platform.
  • Performing and leading team with project tasks, including gathering requirements, planning, analyzing, designing, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Implementations.
  • Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.
  • Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes for all Dynamics 365 related technology efforts.
  • Identification of risks and issues from a technical perspective.
  • Prepare detailed written instructions and documentation.
  • Effectively make oral and written reports and presentations and prepare clear and concise documentation.
  • Perform analysis and requirements gathering with customers.
