The University of New Mexico Southwest Center for Advancing Clinical & Translational Innovation (SW CACTI), located within the Health Sciences Center, is seeking a part-time Programmer Analyst 1 to support the preparation and delivery of clinical data for research. Working under the direct supervision of senior technical staff, the Programmer Analyst 1 will assist with gathering data-request requirements; developing and maintaining routine to moderately complex queries and scripts; extracting, cleaning, linking, validating, and documenting datasets; and applying established safeguards for data security and patient privacy. The position will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and Informatics team members to support clear, actionable, and compliant research data requests. SW CACTI is part of the national Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) consortium, funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, National Institutes of Health. Translational science supports the movement of discoveries from laboratory and clinical research into health systems and communities.
