About The Position

The NFL Programming temp is responsible for enhancing the NFL content experience within B/R's mobile app and website. They will accomplish this by: sending push notifications, curating content from social media sites, curating highlights, all while packaging with B/R’s voice. They will update fans in real-time with scores, highlights and breaking news through best-in-class content curation and editorial decision-making.

Requirements

• Passionate NFL fan, you live and breathe football and want to make it a career
• Full awareness of sports culture and trending storylines across the NFL and more
• This role operates on nights and weekends, we work when sports happen
• 1-3 years of professional experience preferred
• Frequent user of the B/R app, understanding how it works as a fan and user
• Video editing experience strongly preferred
• Keen awareness of B/R’s voice. When news breaks, know how B/R reacts
• Avid consumer of sports content from multiple publishers
• Previous experience with content management systems a plus

Responsibilities

• Enhance fan experience via content curation within B/R’s app
• Source content from X, TikTok, reddit, Instagram, etc. and distribute to app users
• Curate, source and upload video to B/R platforms
• Write push notifications surrounding NFL events and breaking news
• Contribute to coverage of all major sports, not just NFL, depending on calendar needs
• Channel B/R's voice as you distribute editorial content across all platforms
• Focus on the team experience within the B/R app with custom editorial hooks, push notifications and other content experiences
