About The Position

Jamestown Community College (JCC), a SUNY institution, is seeking part-time Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) instructors for upcoming semesters on the Jamestown Campus. Class times and course coverage needs will vary. This is a pool posting, and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, with applicants contacted as needed. Requirements

• Fluency in PLC programming, industrial automation, motor controls, electrical systems, sensors, robotics integration, and system troubleshooting.
• Extensive hands-on industrial maintenance, automation, or controls engineering experience.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience or 5+ years PLC/automation experience.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training in PLC fundamentals and advanced programming, HMI, industrial networking, electrical safety, industrial math, blueprint reading, digital electronics, instrumentation, and automated systems troubleshooting.
• Develop curriculum and instructional design.
• Engage in industry collaboration.
• Deliver high-quality workforce training aligned with employer needs.
