OVERVIEW: The Program Volunteer creates a safe, engaging, and positive environment for participants by implementing activities and supporting program goals. This role fosters meaningful connections with participants, staff, and guests, while upholding the YMCA’s values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. This assignment, at either the Southtowns Family YMCA or Independent Health Family YMCA, is specific to the enCourage, Benefit for Both, community-based respite program serving older adults living with Dementia and their caregivers.
