About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Program Manager I, the Program Training Specialist supports, delivers, and implements training curriculum to assigned teams and departments. This role partners with the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team to assess current and future training needs, ensuring the application of best practices and compliance with organizational policies and external regulations. This position is full time onsite, 40 hours per week; will work a traditional schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 years of proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, with a strong emphasis on onboarding and work process training.
Experience in implementing successful onboarding programs that accelerate new hire time-to-productivity.
Intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Proficiency in various training delivery methods, including classroom training, e-learning, webinars, and blended learning approaches.
Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content delivery, tracking, and reporting.
This position requires 10% of travel.
Background check required.

MVR / DMV clearance in accordance with CCRC’s liability insurance provisions: For positions where driving is required.
Child Development Permit: For positions working in an educational capacity (California Education Code Sections 44242.5, 44340, and 44341)
CPR / Pediatric CPR certification: For certain identified positions working directly with the public in a child/ community care or child / community care adjacent setting (CA Health & Safety Code 1596.865 – 1596.866)
Federal Debarment Checks: For positions acting in a principal capacity to federal funds (Head Start Program Performance Standards 1304.11, Code of Federal Regulations Title 2 Grants and Agreements 2.180.320 and 2.180.995)

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in a public agency, case management, social services, or early childhood program.
Hold an Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification from the Association for Talent Development, or an equivalent certification.
Bilingual preferred.
Ability to converse, write and/or translate in English and Armenian / Spanish
