About The Position

Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking therapists, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena and the Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area. The Reasons Program Therapist performs functions including providing individual family and group therapy to residents with a primary eating disorder diagnosis. The successful candidate will function as part of a treatment team, delivering high-quality care alongside the psychiatrist, Registered Dietitian, medical staff and dedicated support service staff in a milieu environment. Requirements

Master's Degree required from an accredited college or university, in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or a related mental health field preferred.
Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; and strong clinical assessment skills, preferred.
May be required to work Saturdays.
