About The Position

Applications are currently being accepted for a Program Support Technician in the Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness Office, located at the North City Campus in the Professional Development Center. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs. Requirements

  • All applicants must have demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and classified professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for PD programs by coordinating events, offering guidance, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Promote principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and accessibility across the campus community.
  • Assist the Flex Coordinator with scheduling and organizing Fall and Spring Flex Days, and support Flex activities and technology needs throughout the year.
  • Coordinate training sessions for the Classified Professional Equity Certification program year-round.
  • Support the planning and execution of SDCCE's annual STAR Conference, including logistics and communications.
  • Coordinate key operational tasks such as developing marketing materials, handling quote requests, processing purchase requisitions, supporting PD non-classroom assignment needs, creating and analyzing PD surveys, and tracking attendance and engagement metrics for PD events.
