About The Position

The Program Support Specialist plays a meaningful role in strengthening the Texas Rising Star system so early learning programs can focus on what matters most—supporting children and families. By keeping critical systems organized, documentation accurate, and communication flowing, this role helps ensure providers receive timely guidance, mentors and assessors are supported, and quality efforts move forward with consistency and care. This work directly contributes to stronger early learning experiences and a more responsive, reliable support system for communities across Texas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, project management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing administrative, program, or coordination support in a structured, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to follow and apply Texas Rising Star processes, policies, and documentation requirements with accuracy and care.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
  • Dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting early learning programs in alignment with ChildCareGroup’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the Texas Rising Star program running smoothly by coordinating schedules, documentation, and communication for mentors, assessors, and early learning programs.
  • Ensure accuracy and accountability by maintaining case records, uploading required documentation, and updating state systems in alignment with program requirements.
  • Support program integrity by tracking assessments, certifications, licensing screenings, and follow up actions from start to completion.
  • Serve as a reliable point of connection by communicating clearly with providers, staff, and partners to ensure expectations and timelines are met.
  • Represent ChildCareGroup with professionalism and care at meetings, trainings, and community events that support program quality.
