About The Position

Within the context of a client and family centred care model and in accordance with established vision and values of the organization, provides administrative support to Home Health, Mental Health and Public Health program staff (both on-site and off-site) under the auspices of Community Health. Performs a variety of administrative support functions such as word processing, data entry, filing, typing reports and documents from notes for all programs. Performs switchboard & reception duties and answers general inquiries relating to Community Health programs.

Requirements

  • Grade Twelve or equivalent.
  • Office Administration Certificate and one year related experience or, two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard computer hardware and software (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software).
  • Working knowledge of email and calendar programs.
  • Ability to keyboard 5,000 keystrokes per hour.
