About The Position

Community Options is seeking a Program Supervisor for the Family Support Program within its Residential Department. This role involves leading, training, and scheduling Direct Support Professionals to provide high-quality care and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly. Responsibilities include supporting individuals with daily living needs such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and transportation, as well as overseeing site standards, managing budgets, completing reports, and providing staff feedback.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with Developmental Disabilities (DD) programs required
  • Access to a working mobile phone (iPhone/ Android)
  • CPR and First Aid certified, or ability to obtain successfully during new hire training period.
  • A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state will be required based on assigned job duties.
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval.
  • Required to successfully complete required training and/or certification within specified time frame, includes DD certification; time requirements will vary based on assigned training or certification programs.
  • Understanding of human services and developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency with computer including experience with Microsoft Office, Therap reporting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others; demonstrated team-building skills.
  • Ability to plan over a one- to two-year time span.
  • Ability to analyze problems; develop solutions at a functional and strategic level.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Commitment to company mission and values.
