About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Program Supervisor to oversee the safe, on-site delivery of small, capital and specialised construction projects across the Pilbara. The field-based role is responsible for keeping programs moving, holding contractors accountable, keeping stakeholders informed, and ensuring milestones are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard. The permanent, full-time position is FIFO on an 8:6 roster, with flights from Perth.
Requirements
- Trade-relevant qualification with equivalent industry and organisational experience.
- Working at Heights Licence (mandatory).
- Construction White Card (mandatory).
- Ability to identify foreseeable issues and address them logically, with safety front of mind.
- Ability to maintain accurate time and material records and submit reports as required.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong desire to foster a team-oriented approach.
Nice To Haves
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training (desirable).
- Previous work experience in the mining sector is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Supervise employee relations and manage work crews and contractors, ensuring employees are trained and accountable for their tasks.
- Evaluate and scope work requests in a timely manner before approval within the work management planning process.
- Participate in weekly pre-planning, planning and scheduling meetings to align and commit resources to the work schedule.
- Ensure maintenance work is safely executed in line with the approved schedule.
- Deliver minor and capital works, including scope development, commercial input and tendering.
- Manage the planning and execution of unplanned work and reschedule tasks as needed.
- Review work execution performance with team members, identify gaps and take corrective action to improve performance.
- Manage and review events, ensuring escalation protocols are followed.
- Provide input into the development of work strategies.
- Ensure end-to-end process compliance.
