About The Position

As the Program Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team providing day treatment short-term stabilization services to youth as they build the skills needed to thrive at home, in school, and in their community. You'll oversee clinical quality, program operations, staff development, and safety while ensuring a supportive and engaging treatment environment. In partnership with leadership, you will strengthen key relationships and support the continued success of the program. Our Program Supervisor will collaborate with the Program Director to recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team. The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration and Progress) Program is located in Salinas, CA. STEP provides intensive, day treatment short-term stabilization services to youth, ages 12 - 17, for an average of 15 days. Our goal is to reintegrate our youth into schools and the community with lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. All groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills to feel better and be safe. Requirements

Master’s degree in Psychology/Counseling/Social Work, or related subject area
Licensed with California BBS: LSW, LMFT, or LPCC
3 years of experience in crisis program or related field
Management experience
At least 21 years of age
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Senecas’ insurance policy

Responsibilities

Oversee the overall quality of the assigned Day Treatment Intensive location
Perform personnel functions including overseeing the program development, interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluation of all staff
Participate in regular meetings with collaborating community partners
Maintain positive relationships with referral sources
Prepare and submit all necessary program reports
Meet at least weekly with the Program Director
Approve documentation including incident reports, mental health notes, DSM-V diagnoses, treatment plans, and other clinical documents
Address individual training needs for team members
Provide support including facilitation or co-facilitation of group session, conducting risk assessments, facilitating intakes and family therapy sessions, and holding client cases as needed
Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training

Starting at $87,914 - $101,914 per year, commensurate with experience
