OUR VALUES HOPE values: Humility, Ownership, Perseverance, Engagement Under the supervision of the Program Director III, the Program Supervisor II is responsible for managing the daily operations of the program. Plans, organizes, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the delivery of services and contracts assigned. Provides supervision and support to the staff and acts as a backup.
Requirements
- Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - general major.
- Standard practice or oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate well.
- Ability to read and write.
- Use simple arithmetic.
- Keep simple records.
- Computer skills.
- Office 365 knowledge.
- Video conferencing basic knowledge.
- Training in a specialized or technical field or trade, such as social work or human services field.
- Over two years, up to and including four years of experience.
- Experience working with adolescents.
- Experience in classroom teaching and training in theory and practice of child/youth development.
- Experience working with the program target population.
- Experience in supervising program operations and direct service staff.
- Ability and organization to manage program operations.
- Knowledge of area of program concentration.
- Valid Hawaii driver's license.
- Clear driver's abstract.
- Willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.
- Use of personal vehicle to transport participants, as needed.
- Use of agency vehicle to transport participants, as needed.
- Subject to a criminal background investigation.
- Successful completion of van driving training.
- Successful completion of CPI classes OR other Behavioral Management certification as may be contract-mandated.
- Successful completion of CPR, First Aid, AED classes.
