About The Position

Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132-bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders. We provide care to adults, and to patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs are designed to help adults, children, and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal and successfully function at home, work, school, and in their communities. Position Summary: The Program Supervisor – Adult Acute oversees the adult social services department and ensures that the team is trained and empowered to deliver services to the acute patients, while also serving as a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. The supervisor monitors that all patients are receiving appropriate care as ordered by physician, that appropriate groups are provided and that safe discharges are occurring as required by regulatory requirements through supervision, training, and data collection/assessment. The Adult Program supervisor may take responsibility for a reduced size therapist case load as needed for pending census and staffing.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or other behavioral health clinical treatment
  • LMHC, LCSW or LMFTA preferred; LSW or LMHCA required
  • One year experience in provision of mental health or chemical dependency therapy required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities
