About The Position

Provides administrative, enrollment, marketing, advising, clerical, and project-based support for instructional programs within the Center for Healthcare Professionals (CHP). Serves as the primary frontline support for Program Directors and Managers. Play a central role at HCC as you keep our everyday operations running like clockwork. You’ll get the chance to make things happen and work closely with inspiring leaders across different parts of the institution. Whether your role is supportive, administrative, financial or something else, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that not only provides HCC students with cutting-edge academic and career tools, it also takes care of its people.

Requirements

  • Associate degree, 60 hours of college credit or high school diploma/equivalent plus 4 years work experience required
  • 3 years’ work experience required
  • Valid Texas Driver License
  • MS Office Programs
  • Budget Management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing administrative, instructional and/or program support experience preferred
  • Experience with Workforce programs and processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support payroll processing, faculty onboarding, and submission of personnel documents.
  • Prepare instructor packets and manage instructional documentation such as enrollment, attendance, grades, and certificates.
  • Assist with textbook requests, class schedule communications, and student payment monitoring.
  • Provide front-desk support, including handling calls, visitors, mail, and basic Help Desk assistance, as needed.
  • Process Canvas and classroom requests, ensuring all tasks are handled accurately and on time.
  • Complete administrative forms, including travel, leave, and reimbursement documentation.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and manage inventory of instructional and office materials.
  • Support student enrollment and registration, including schedule changes and general inquiries.
  • Manage student program inquiries and schedule orientations or information sessions.
  • Assist with workflow coordination for learners across courses and with college events as needed.
  • Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.
