About The Position

The Program Specialist II, under general supervision, performs specialist duties for the College of Engineering. This position is a temporary summer position. The estimated time frame for this position is June 1, 2026 - August 31, 2026. The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.
• Two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
• Required to travel with students on all field trips and Professional Development with companies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Summer Program Counselors.
• Prepares reports on program activities.
• Monitors and prepares daily schedule for classroom activities and special projects.
• Assists in establishing short and long-term goals and strategic planning.
• Collaborates with other to create new and expanded programs.
