About The Position

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Security Specialist. The Program Security Specialist will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. As a valuable member of our team, you would directly impact BNH’s ability to conduct ground testing of airframes, engines, or other aerospace systems by providing multi-disciplined security support for Arnold Engineering & Development Complex (AEDC) test programs at all classification levels. Candidates must be self-driven and results-oriented capable of effectively articulating and presenting comprehensive security-based recommendations in support of test and technology projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field with at least 5 years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security guidance, policy development, and oversight for all aspects of test projects, analysis projects, and technology projects.
  • Providing initial and annual refresher training for SAP employees.
  • Updating SAP Security Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Creating Industrial Security work instructions and Test Security Plans (TSP) for SAP test efforts.
  • Maintaining a document accountability system and participating inventories as required.
  • Reviewing QLRs, briefings and other reports for proper portion markings and overall markings.
  • Completing required Fixed Facility Checklist on all areas that are required to support SAPs, whether they are permanent facilities or temporary.
  • Providing coordination and secure methods of communication between AEDC SAP personnel and outside agencies.
  • Participating in inspections of the SAP programs annually (typically 3).
  • Ensuring visits are coordinated appropriately prior to arrival at AEDC; working with VCC to ensure visitors have the proper credentials upon arrival (badges).
  • Collaborating with the ISSO/ISSM/ISSE on computer systems required to support upcoming projects as well as ongoing projects; assisting as required to be in compliance with JSIG and CSOP controls relating to physical security, PII and information protection.
  • Ensuring SAP classified mail is properly handled, wrapped and mailed in compliance with program requirements.
  • Ensuring proper documentation is provided to the PSO for review when SAP personnel report foreign contacts and foreign travel as well as any other required information as appropriate.
  • Ensuring all access lists (EALs) are up to date as required for each individual SAP with all information as directed in applicable guidance.
  • Submitting Program Access Requests (PAR) for briefed personnel.
  • Participating in pre- and post-test sanitization of test areas.
  • Changing padlock, X-0 lock, and various types of cipher lock combinations within the industrial area.
  • Audit security processes to ensure policy compliance and quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
