The Program Scientist at MIT.nano will assist the broader MIT.nano research community in understanding the complexities of atomic layer deposition (ALD) and potentially plasma etching. This role aims to contribute to new trends, methods, and knowledge within the lab. The position will not involve conducting original research or continuing a candidate's prior research work. In collaboration with MIT.nano staff, the scientist will identify and prioritize broad process challenges, develop solution approaches, and disseminate this knowledge across MIT.nano. This will be achieved through identifying knowledge bottlenecks, literature reviews, designing experiments to enhance tool performance, and summarizing findings in white papers and application notes for the MIT.nano user community.
