About The Position

Quadrus Corporation is seeking a Program Scheduler that will serve as a key operational partner and assistant to Program Managers and Principal Investigators. This role develops, maintains, and communicates integrated program and manufacturing schedules; tracks material procurements; and coordinates physical shipments of deliverables. The position ensures schedule visibility, maximizes manufacturing equipment utilization, identifies impacts from decisions or changes, and supports on-time program execution through proactive coordination with internal stakeholders, purchasing, and external vendors/customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in program/project scheduling, manufacturing/production scheduling, program coordination, or a closely related role (experience supporting technical, engineering, R&D, or manufacturing environments preferred).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with scheduling software (Microsoft Project strongly preferred; experience with Primavera P6 or similar tools a plus).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (for tracking, analysis, and reporting).
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical personnel (engineers, Principal Investigators), program managers, purchasing, vendors, and customers.
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and maintain accuracy in a dynamic setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing or maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) or master production schedules.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments, equipment utilization planning, material procurement processes, or logistics/shipping coordination.
  • Knowledge of basic project management methodologies, critical path method, or schedule risk concepts.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems or basic earned value / performance measurement concepts (helpful but not required depending on the specific programs).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP, or APICS/ASCM credentials such as CPIM) a plus.
  • Prior experience in industries involving complex technical programs, R&D, aerospace/defense, advanced manufacturing, or government-sponsored work.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Program Managers and Principal Investigators to develop, maintain, and update integrated program schedules (daily or weekly cadence depending on program needs). Provide regular status updates to management and customers.
  • Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to identify and assess schedule impacts of decisions, risks, and changing circumstances throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Partner with the Division Director, Program Managers, and Principal Investigators to develop and maintain an integrated manufacturing schedule that maximizes utilization of manufacturing equipment and resources.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, Principal Investigators, and corporate purchasing personnel to request, track, and monitor procurements of materials required for programs as well as for manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, Principal Investigators, and shipping vendors to ensure timely shipment of physical deliverables to customers and vendors.
  • Monitor progress against schedules, identify potential delays or critical-path issues, flag risks, and support development of recovery or mitigation options.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings, collect status inputs from task owners, and maintain accurate, logic-driven schedules.
  • Generate and distribute clear schedule reports, status summaries, and visualizations for management, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support resource awareness and basic capacity considerations within schedules (especially manufacturing equipment and related constraints).
  • Maintain data integrity in scheduling tools and related tracking systems; contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling processes and templates.
  • Perform other related coordination and support duties as assigned to ensure smooth program and manufacturing operations.
