About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Program Scheduler Lead to join our growing team. The Program Scheduler Lead will be responsible for managing project schedules, ensuring accurate, realistic, and logical planning throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves evaluating schedule impacts from proposed changes, identifying schedule conflicts, and maintaining integration with the master program schedule. The Program Scheduler Lead will support a large scale transformative airport infrastructure project and will be part of a high-performing project team based in the west end of Toronto.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project scheduling and coordination, specifically in major construction and infrastructure programs like airport development.
  • Proven expertise in developing and managing complex project schedules, integrating multiple work streams and stakeholder dependencies.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and familiarity with industry-standard scheduling practices.
  • Experience in resource allocation, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessment.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for airport development programs, incorporating all phases from planning and design to construction and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to integrate schedule inputs, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or conflicts.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and analysis to ensure alignment with project objectives, milestones, and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports and updates to project management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations for schedule optimization.
  • Facilitate schedule-related meetings and workshops to communicate schedule impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively.
  • Collaborate with interface managers and other project leads to streamline scheduling processes and enhance overall project efficiency and delivery.
