About The Position

The Quality Assurance organization has an opportunity for you to join the GTF Program Quality Management team. In this role, you will lead and support dynamic activities on a growing commercial engine program. Activities will engage Customers, internal organizations, and internal and external producers driven to high levels of Quality performance related to product development, certification, production and delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business or Quality field or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience in Engineering/Technical/Quality Positions.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

Participate/Host Customer interactions supporting production, test and delivery of our GTF engine programs.
Collaborate with mod centers to identify and drive actions to reduce escapes, improve Quality signature.
Understand and communicate the ‘voice of the Customer’ (externally and internally) in decisions affecting Quality and performance.
Collaborate with Customers and internal teams to identify and drive Quality improvement projects that reduce defects and Quality escapes.
Work with functional groups to help define and establish Quality process improvements.
Utilize APQP & PPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risks and propose mitigation solutions.
