About The Position

The Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Program Quality Lead (PQL) will support the Sentinel LCCS program within the Product Support (PS) business unit. This role is a full-time onsite position at the El Paso, TX facility. The PQL will ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements, and will interface with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Supplier Quality regarding program requirements. The cross-functional team is located in El Paso and Fullerton, CA. The role will also involve working with two Army subcontractors in East (PA), requiring a small percentage of travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or related field.
  • Working experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Working experience conducting audits, monitoring/leading Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA).
  • Working experience performing analyses of nonconformances to characterize causes and develop containment/corrective actions.
  • Working experience with Engineering Labs, Operations Workflow, Planning Work Orders, Quality Control History Record (QCHR), Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR).
  • Working experience conducting First Article Inspection (FAI), Verification and Validation, and product sell-off and delivery activities.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience using PRISM to look up Part Numbers, view Purchase Orders, verify Q-notes, generate Quality Notifications (QN).
  • Working experience using cPDM to view and analyze drawing requirements.
  • Experience working with contract requirements and compliance.
  • Experience with procurement process and supplier requirement flow down, supplier engagement discussions of Q-notes and Drawing requirements, supplier non-conformances, Rework/Repair disposition, Return-to-Vendor process.
  • Experience using Corrective Action Systems, NetInspect, DigIT, DISCUS, and other quality/logistic resources.
  • Experience using Failure Rejection Analysis & Corrective Action System (FRACAS) activities for systemic issues and part failures.
  • Working experience with Depot activities and inventory audits.
  • Experience assisting proposal activities and preparing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
  • Experience working with stakeholders and cross-functional IPT teams at all levels.
  • Experience using verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Contract Quality Requirements to document the quality requirements on proposals, programs, and contract modifications.
  • Interface with program teams, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and cross-functional organizations, supporting technical quality performance and ensuring compliance with Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Closely interface with external and internal customers to establish effective relationships and communication.
  • Assist with program planning activities, tailoring and completion of Integrated Program Tailoring Workbook.
  • Plan and conduct process audits to ensure program compliance to contractual and company requirements.
  • Serve as a key team member in the resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Mission Assurance and Quality.
  • Responsible for the quality of delivered products and services to customers and stakeholders.
  • Assure the inclusion of quality requirements in planning and proposals.
  • Responsible for improving processes or systems using significant conceptualization, reasoning, and interpretation skills.
  • Address numerous and undefined problems and issues where information is typically difficult to obtain.
